Welcome Baby Mason!

 Mason Devin Scott
born 10/26/11
7lbs 20" long
Perfect as can be!

This little girl amazes me with how well she adapts to change. She has been such an amazing big sister so far! She loves to lay next to him and talk to him, help with his binky and just sit and hold him. She's only tried to pick him up on her own once! Scary!!
It's been so fun to hold him all the time. He had to be on blue lights for a few days after he was born, but the bilirubin finally went down so we can enjoy him even more now! Thank goodness.

It has been so much fun having him as a part of our little family. I just hope I can get the hang of things soon!  I know it's possible to take care of two kids somehow cuz I know a lot of people that have! You're all amazing! It's hard work!!! Thank you everyone that has helped out so much with dinner and entertaining Bryn. It's so nice having all the support!

A big thank you to my sister Aimee for taking all the pic's! She is awesome and super talented! :)

A few of Bryn's favorite thing's this summer...finally!

My little fishy! She never wants to get out of the tub and is constantly saying "I wanna go swimmin pool?"

Scary faces! We're ready for Halloween!

Going to visit Daddy on his lunch and swinging at the park nearby.
Picking her own outfits obviously and going to the zoo! She never stops asking that either..."I needa go to the zoo! I needa go see ein (somehow that means elephant)."
She loves riding any and all horses! This is at the zoo and we let her ride a horse at the state fair and she LOVED it! She cried when they took her off. :(
Camping with the fam up Springville Canyon. She had so much fun playing in the dirt and water. And not sleeping...

Back to the zoo....these are a little mixed up. She loves the tiger.
We had a blast at the cabin this year! We had mama and baby deer hangin out with us the whole time. Bryn was very happy about that and still asks where the deer is.
 Golfing at the cabin!
 Bowling at the cabin!
Daddy giving golf lessons. So cute.
The "go cart" was maybe the best part of the cabin! Especially cuz it wasn't working when we first got there and apparently hasn't for quite some time, but my amazing hubby was able to figure it out and fix it for us!
The major owwie of the summer.... She fell at the cabin and hit her head right on the corner of the door. Soo close to breaking the skin. She still has the bruise like a month and a half later. I was freakin out and am very glad it wasn't worse.
More dress up. She loves this skirt. It was a great investment!
And her back to school outfit from Grandma Scott. She's been so cute saying all the grandparents names lately. She says grammy, Grandma Scott, Grandma B, Grandpa Scott and Grandpa B. She absolutely loves them all and would play with them every day if she could! I'm so glad I have them to help me take care of her and to spoil her! :)

Life is rough without a camera!

Luckily Devin's phone takes ok pic's and Aim was happy to take some at the parade for us as well! Here is a little taste of our 4th of July weekend.....

We took Bryn to see Cars 2 and she was a little bored about half way through, but it was fun to take her. She was excited to see "LighQueen" on the big screen! I must say the Cars 1 is better though. We were able to have Devin's nephew, Peyton sleep over one night since he was here in town so we took them to the Centerville fireworks. This is the closest Bryn and Peyt have ever been to firework's so it was fun! Bryn started out covering her ears and frozen in place, but got used to it and loved them! She told everyone all weekend she saw "fire"!

It's so fun to have Peyt visit every summer. He is so good with Bryn and she loves him! We had tons of fun with him and wish we could see him more often!

Here are some pic's Aim got at the Magna Parade for us....

Bryn and two of her favorite people! She loves Err and Pa. I'm so glad we get to see them as often as we do. Although it's never enough for her! :)

She stood up and entertained everyone at the parade since the Magna Parade didn't have a lot of excitement this year. I was a little disappointed, but Bryn loved every minute. She danced for us all and grabbed all the candy her little hands could hold every time it was thrown!

Cousins watching the parade... You can tell the older ones are lovin the pics! Kailee, Emma, Err, Bree, Bryson, Bryn.

Such cuties!

And a little family pic that we don't catch very often! Thanks Aim!
After the parade (and nap time of course), we went to the Scott's for rootbeer floats and fireworks from their deck! It was a great long weekend with lots of fun family time! :)

My baby isn't such a baby anymore...

This picture breaks my heart! We took her binky's away...finally! We took her to build a bear and let her pick an animal out to replace her binky's and then we cut the ends off of them all. She took them one by one, showed us they were "broh" (broke) and then lined them up on the couch. So sad! Being a parent can be so difficult! It was awful taking away one of her most treasured possesions!

And....she won't be my baby for much longer because she's going to be a big sister!!! I guess that means I need to stop calling her my baby. I've started to try and tell her a "baby #2" is on the way! She will be so cute with a little baby. We're excited!

It's still pretty early to tell, but we're 99% sure it's a boy!!! Crazy! I'm still in shock. :)

Can we please stay?!

I wanted to stay in Cali forever! Especially this one and only sunny day we got there that you see below!

Bryn loved the sand! And the water....eventually. It took her a day or two to be ok with the ocean. She did love every second she spent in the pools, though. She would have been happy to just stay in Vegas and swim the whole time!

This is what the rest of our time there looked like....

But we still played in the sand and collected sea shells. I love San Diego sunny or not. :)
Daddy showed her how to find sea shells and collect them in her sand bucket. She was entertained for hours!

Bryn's favorite spot to be was on the porch of our hote. I didn't mind hanging out with her out there!

We ventured out to the San Diego Zoo since the weather was pretty perfect for walking around places like that and not as great for the beach. It was quite a hike! I was so worn out, but it was so fun showing Bryn the brown bears, polar bears, baby hippo, tiger, and tons of birds. She loves birds! And anything baby. So she loved the hippo and she was happy to see the polar bears eat.

We watched this giant elephant get a bath, eat and get his toenails filed. Bryn still brings it up to this day! It's so funny.
Sea World! Yes we gave in and got her this giant Shamu. She was so dang cute when she saw it. She jumped out of her stroller and hugged it and kissed it. Way too cute to say no!

I'm glad we got it to remember how much she loved this place. She was so happy to be up close to the big Shamu and touch him. I was so impressed she wasn't scared!

She was SO focused on the dolphin show. She loved this show and the Shamu show. She entertained everyone around us also by yelling, "YAY!!! You did it!". Funny girl.

Penguins! Her favorite!

Dolphin show...
I am so excited to say she even went on a ride with me! I was so sad last year when she hated Lagoon! She could have stayed to ride this Elmo ride all day! We also did an Abby tea cup ride. That was a little scarier for her, but she was laughing by the end!

You can tell how excited she is to be at Sea World... She didn't know what was coming!

Such a fun trip! I can't wait to go back. We need to go a bit later in the year so it's a little warmer next time, but I still loved every minute. I hadn't been to Sea World since I was 2 or so and I loved it! It was a blast and so fun to see Bryn's reactions. So worth the insane amount it cost to get in! At least I think so! :)

Two Year Photo Shoot

Here a few of my favorite shots. It was so hard to pick! I love them all. Please feel free to leave your votes for your favorites. I need help deciding what to enlarge! :) My sister did an awesome job. Let me know if you're interested or looking for a great photographer!
