Bryn's First Weeks of Life

2 Weeks Old

Isn't she so dang cute?! I can't get enough of her! I guess that's a good thing since she isn't going anywhere huh? It's hard to understand how much you'll love that little baby that's kickin' inside you for 9 months until you have them in your arms! It's such an amazing experience!

Bryn's First Dr's Appointment


They measured her and weighed her and she is puttin on the pounds quick! She's up to 7lbs 5 oz!! All they could say is how strong she is and my favorite comment, "She's perfect!" She's seen the Dr. twice now and both times the two Dr's that saw her said she's perfect. We definitely agree!!

First Bath at Home


She did so good with her bath at home! She doesn't like her body washed much, but she loves getting her hair washed! She just chills and lets us run her head under the water. She loves it!

Done and Done!

The cutest girl in the world was officially born today. Brynlee Scott is 6 lbs 6oz and 21 inches long. She also has a ton of hair. Lyns will give you a full update tomorrow, but I thought people might want to see some pics. Mom and Baby are totally healthy by the way.

Now you can all see why I haven't posted any pic's of myself for the last little while!! I am twice as big as the last pic if not more!!! I am getting bigger every day. I can't believe she could come any day!! I had my last shower today and the fam and friends spoiled us with a carseat and stroller combo!! It's so cute and now we have something to bring her home in! So we have her co-sleeper bassinet, crib, carseat, tub, and tons of cute clothes, but I dunno if we are prepared to be a mom and dad!! I don't think we ever will though. I am definitely feeling more ready these last few days as it is getting hard to walk and move around!! I feel so huge!!








We got so spoiled at our shower's!! We're so glad we have so many supportive people!! Thanks to everyone that put in so much work for the shower's and to everyone that came and brought tons of great gifts!!





This was the entertaining part of the shower...watching everyone put together the stroller/carseat! I don't have any other pic's of this shower yet since noone took pic's with my cam but I'll steal some and post more stat!! For now, you'll hafta deal with Aimee's bum. It's a great view.

The Girl's Christmas Party

It was so fun to have all the girl's together again! We were sad Nicole couldn't be there, but she will be here soon so we can do dinner with her! So... I realized my friends aren't all chronically late like I am. In fact some even come early every time we get together!! I dunno how they do it, but I was pretty embarrassed when Rand, Rache, and Holly showed up with me in my see-through shirt with a hot pink bra and scrub pants still on! It was pretty awesome, but at least they were all there to entertain each other while I ran upstairs to change! Reese made it a little while later and I am still amazed by her getting there because she has so much she has to do to get anywhere now! I always feel so bad when she comes to the door with her hands full! I'm lookin forward to that! She is so good at being a mom though and Cohen is so freakin' cute! I can't wait to see Jadyn too! Soon they will have another little friend to play with and Alex to babysit and be the big brother!!




K, so I haven't blogged for a while so I needa catch up! Check out Devin's 1.5 lb sandwich!!! And yes, all he has on it is meat and cheese! I just had to show everyone the famous Spanky's sandwich that we ate every Sat. that BYU played and it made them win every time except for when they played Utah. I dunno if it wasn't the full pound and a half or what, but it definitely didn't work that time!!
